The high tech modern day era! Most likely, it would have been a dream until and unless some inspiring and creative human minds came into action, which why we are fortunate enough to live a life the way we do. Leave alone past period, if we consider our own past few years, the vast transition in the manner things are being done, be it big or small is indeed drastic. During whole process or the series of events that takes place around us, one thing which keeps on occuring is the change factor.Nothing in this world remains constant. Change is the factor which determines whether somebody’s life is good or bad according to the individual’s point of view.
With the ever increasing inventions and progressions undertaken by the human society , increase in injustice and crimes are also no exception . Be it the increase in the cases of sexual assault on women, child abuse or corruption, such cases are reportedly gaining momentum. On the other hand, we can’t really talk of completely eradicating such evil deeds in a vast country like our’s, but then again we also should not tolerate a 4year old child’s rapist undergoing judicial trial for months or may be years due to lack of proper evidence. The establishment of fast-track courts should be given more emphasis, on the part of the centre, in this regard because we can’t wait for such culprits to get punished under our traditional judicial system, which at times take too long for almost anything.
One very important aspect which pertains to our own personality is self-assesment or evaluation. People have this common attitude whereby, they guide, lead and instruct othersto act with
proper ethics and moral values but when their own time sets on, they are almost blank and get deviated from what they were supposed to do. Self-evaluation should be a continued process which in turn will help us to carve out a better human being out of ourselves.
Patience, ambition, determination, persistence and quest for seeking knowledge should go hand-in-hand with one another. Where the present day world is full of opportunities, its upto us to explore ourselves and make the best possible use of it drifting aside all odds. Strong determination and will power fetches the best out of an individual, although it might not be always possible to be a so called ‘man of patience’. This statement could be better supported by the fact that we live in a country where even CM’s resign after being sworn in barely within 2-3 months. Butstill, someone has rightly said,”if there is a will, there is a will”.
Let’s live a life pure by heart, seeking for wisdom and enlightened by truth. Help people who are in need, do our bit for the society and be honest and proud citizens.
